St Joseph’s submitted a fantastic project booklet that detailed their project from the outset to harvesting.  It’s wonderful to see the enjoyment of the children who have worked really well as a team to achieve so much.  They have also learned a great deal about where good food comes from and how to grow it themselves.  It’s sure to be an experience they’ll remember and I’m hopeful that many of them will go on to be keen gardeners in the future.

The school attempted to grow as many sorts of different vegetables, herbs and fruits as they possibly could, and their gardening diary reflected their involvement at every stage - planning, digging, composting, weeding, watering, planting harvesting - and eating!
